BY CAR: Approx. 25 minutes' drive. Exit airport by taking the road down along side of the San Miguel factory and follow signs to Torremolinos/Cadiz (N340/A7/AP7) - do not go over the flyover as this will take you into Malaga city. After 4 kms, just past the BMW garage take the right hand road signposted Benalmadena/Algeciras (blue sign).

After BP Petrol station and just past the exit for Mijas Benalmadena 217 you will start to go down hill and the road splitts. The left will say Marbella/Algeciras E-15 A7 peaje (toll road) the right Fuengirola/Algeciras N340 Costa, keep to the right.

You will eventually pass Hipercor Supermarket & El Corte Ingles on right hand side and than Mcdonalds and the Water Park on the left hand side. You will now need to take the next right hand turn off which is just after Lidos and Dunnes store.

At the roundabout which is under the bridge, take the 3rd exit, Kia car showroom is on the left hand side. Carry on until you get to a small roundabout. Directly in front is the beige and brown blocks of Dona Sofia. Turn left and than first right.

BY TAXI: A taxi to Parque Dona Sofia should be around 35 euros (one way) and takes around 25 minutes.

BY TRAIN: The Malaga to Fuengirola train leaves every half hour from 7.11am to 11.45pm. To get to the platform, turn right outside the airport building upper-level exit and follow the signs. Tickets, costing €1.50, should be purchased before boarding. Once you arrive into Fuengirola head directly south towards the beach promenade. From here turn right into a westward direction and head towards the Castle. Just before the end of the promenade on the right hand side is Parque Dona Sofia.
