PRE-HOLIDAY

Q: How far is Malaga Airport ?

A: Malaga airport is only a short 25 minute drive away.

Q: Do you offer an airport taxi service?

A: Yes, if you require a representative to collect you and your guests please let us know in advance. We will require all flight details and how many to be collected.

Q: Where's the best place to exchange our money?

A: Normally, you get a better exchange rate here in Spain . The place we recommend is Maxi's Travel which is located along the seafront not far from Parque Dona Sofia.

Q: Is there someone I can personally contact while on holiday?

A: Yes. We have English speaking staff that will be on hand.

Q: Do you have any reviews or comments from previous guests?

Q: When I should I reserve my apartment?

A: We would recommend that you book your accommodation as soon as possible since we are always very much occupied. (LINK)

THE COMPLEX

Q: How secure are the apartments?

A: To enter the block alone one must either have a key to gain entry or one must press the relevant apartment number on the video intercom system to be allowed in. Once in another key is required to enter the actual apartment. These doors are like fort knox .

Q: How near is the beach?

A: The beach is stone throw away. It is directly opposite the apartments and is less than 30 seconds away!!!

Q: Where are the nearest shops?

A: There are bars, restaurants, newsagents, supermarket, travel agency, mini-markets, an ice cream shop and a variety of others located within a very short walking distance.

Q: Are there any lifts?

A: Yes. There are 2 lifts to each entrance.

Q: Are there any parking facilities?

A: Yes. If you hire a car it can be parked in front of the complex along the Paseo Maritimo seafront, or on the sides of the complex or even at the rear of the where the park is. Parking is free. Please also note some apartments might have available a private underground parking space.

Q: Is there a swimming pool?

A: At present no. But sometimes we do get access to a nearby pool area when it is open during the summer season. Otherwise one can pay to go into one of the nearby hotels or even walk up to the indoor community pool.

Q: Is there someone available during the day?

A: Yes, each block has its own friendly and helpful daytime porter who maintains the gardens and the blocks.

THE APARTMENTS

Q: What is the maximum amount of people that are allowed to stay in an apartment?

A: For a 1 bedroom apartment the maximum numbers of guests allowed is 3 and for a 2 bedroom apartment it is a maximum of 5.

Q: Does the apartment have English TV?

A: Yes, the majority of our apartments have individually installed Sky Satellite TV in which they receive the following stations: BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, BBC4, ITV, ITV2, ITV3, Channel 4, Channel 5 and a variety of other stations. There are however other apartments that share a basic Sky package but only receive the following stations: BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Eurosports, CNN, and some others.

Q: What entertainment can be found in the apartments?

A: Each apartment has been furnished individually by its owner. The majority of the apartments do contain a TV, Sky Satellite package, DVD player and some films, stereo system, reading books, variety of magazines, and some board games. The best thing however is to bring your own films and entertainment.

Q:What kitchen appliances are there?

A: Each kitchen has the following appliances: dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and hob, kettle, coffee percolator, blender, microwave, matching plates, cups and cutlery.

Q: Is there a hairdryer in the apartment?

A: Yes

Q: What type of terrace furniture is there?

A: Yes, each apartment is different depending on the owner's taste. Normally there is a table with 4 terrace chairs with cushions; at least 1 lay down with cushion, and some other accessories. Please check out this information on each apartment's listing.

Q: What facilities do you have for babies?

A: A travel cot with bed linen and a high chair is available at a small rental fee.

Q: What's supplied in the apartment?

A: Our apartments are furnished to a high standard and are prepared as if you were coming from home to home. For more information please refer to the specific apartment listing. (LINK)

Q: Are pets allowed?

A: No.

Q: We've broken something, what should we do?

A: Please report it to us asap.

Q: Do the apartments have telephone or internet access?

A: No. The nearest telephone box is located just outside and is on seafront. There is also a local internet cafe. We would recommend clients to buy a mobile phone chip which can be purchased from any telecom shop such as Movistar, Vodafone, Amena etc.

Q:Where do I get rid of any rubbish?

A: There is an internal rubbish shute located on each floor for small items. Other large items should be taken down to the rubbish bins that are situated on the side of each block.

Q: Does the apartment come with air conditioning?

A: The majority of our apartments do have hot and cold air conditioning installed. Please check out the apartment listing details.

LINEN & CLEANING

Q: Do I have to bring my own bed linen and towels?

A: No, in each apartment there are plenty of matching bed linen and towels supplied. The only towels you will be required is for the beach since we do not supply these.

Q: Is there any maid service?

A: No. But if you would like any additional cleaning please contact us and we can arrange at an additional cost.

Q: Do we have to clean the apartment?

A: No. On arrival, the apartment will be cleaned and ready for you to move in. We do however ask guests to clean any additional bed linen and towels that are used. On vacating the apartment the cleaners will than come in.

BOOKING

Q: When do we get the keys?

A: On arrival to the apartment, keys will be exchanged in return for the holiday balance due.

Q: What happens if I cancel?

A: If you cancel you will lose the deposit unless plenty of time is given and that the apartment is rented out to another client.

Q: How do I book an apartment?

A: Either use the online booking system or contact us via telephone or email.

Q: I've made a mistake with my holiday dates, what I should I do?

A: Please contact us immediately and we will try our best to remedy the situation.

Q: Are there any discounts available?

PAYMENT

Q: How do we pay?

A: A deposit will be required to reserve the apartment and the balance will be due in cash on arrival to the apartments.

Q: Are there any other costs involved?

A: No, once you have paid for the holiday there are no other charges involved.

Q: Do you offer any discounts or special offers?

Q: Where are the nearest golf courses?

A: Mijas Golf is only a 5 minute drive away. There are a wide variety of golf courses in either direction within a 15 minute drive. For more information and a list of golf courses on the Costa del Sol , please click the following link. (LINK)

Q: Where can I book a day trip or excursion?

A: The best place is Maxi's Travel which is located along the seafront. They offer good deals to places such as Gibraltar , Cordoba , Granada etc.

Q: Where's the post office?

A: The main post office is located in the centre of Fuengirola town and just off the main plaza where the church is. Otherwise for letters and postcards it is normally quicker to buy the stamps in any sweet shop and to post in the yellow containers found outside these establishments.

Q: Where's the main nightlife?

A: The main area is in the centre of town which is less than a 10 minute walk. Here one will find a variety of lively bars, restaurants and clubs.

Q: Where's Fish Alley?

A: Fish Alley is a road where one can find a vast array of bars and restaurants. It is only a 7 minute walk from the apartments along the seafront.

Q: How far is the train station?

A: The train station is again only a 10 minute walk away and is located in the heart of Fuengirola. The bus station and the Tourist Information Centre is also nearby.

Q: Where's the Tourist Information Centre?

A: This is located nearer the town centre and is very close to the train and bus depots.

Q: What should I do in an emergency?

A: In every apartment there is a guide book which explains what to do and where to go. There is also a flyer on the back of each door that shows important telephone numbers and directions.

Q: What should I do if there is a problem?

A: Please contact us immediately and we will try our best to rectify the problem. You can also ask the porters for any help or advice.

Q: How far is Parque Dona Sofia away from the town centre?

A: Less than a 10 minute walk along the seafront promenade.

Q: Where can I hire a car?

A: There are plenty of places to do this. The nearest is by block 8 called Leamington Cars. Please also check out our travel section. (LINK)

Q: Is there a supermarket close by?

A: Yes, there is a large supermarket only minutes away. There are also mini-markets that supply fresh bread, milk, newspapers and other accessories along the seafront.

GENERAL

Q: Is the complex wheelchair friendly?

A: Yes, each block has a small ramp to get up to the main entrance. Lifts as well as the apartments are suited.

Q: Where can I order a wheelchair?

A: It is possible to rent a wheelchair and other disability products from a few specialised companies. The best thing is to contact us and we will send you the details.
